Here the rhythm, imagery, pronunciation, form, genre, mood and attitude of the poetic texts are examined and discussed, and works, authorships and literary historical currents are viewed in new and eye-opening contexts, where chronologies and national divisions are brought up for revision. At the same time, in each of the over 100 readings that the book contains, there is a focus on the unique experience and realization that the individual poetic text provides.
