I am the truth is a book about Christianity and phenomenology. It does not preach Christianity, but tries to think it through philosophically.

Henry's text is original and demands its reader, not because the words are difficult – the language is clear and vivid – but because a series of notions must be reversed from 'outside' to 'inside', from intentionality to affects. With thinking it penetrates into that area of ​​our 'consciousness' which is not normally thought but lies as passivity and unnoticed resistances and shows how much of our life proceeds from here in the construction of our 'self, I and me' as self-experience and self-examination of being ALIVE.
