The creative sphere is an intertextual exposure of two immediately very different works from the 20th century: Jan Kjærstad's novel Homo Falsus and Sophus Claussen's poem The Poet and the Fool. Both, read from the point of departure in the controversial American literature, criticize Harold Bloom's theories about the fear of influence as an all-important factor in the literary creation process. In the intertextual backdrop lurk the Bible, Brandes, Baudelaire, Shakespeare and Joyce.
